Trying to update pictures

It has been awhile since I have taken pictures of my kids. It was a nice day yesterday and before I headed out to work we tried to take some pictures. Is it just my kids or does anyone else have this problem? No smiles, any face but cute smiles.

Violette was not into the hug Michael was trying to give her.

Michael has his own idea of how pictures should look, he was so proud of all his faces he was making.

Violette would half smile but was really more interested in anything else but me and the camera.
