Saturday was a busy and fun day. It all started at 6:30 am as I woke up to get the family ready to go to Folsom to set up for my first craft fair. BIG thanks to Tony for helping me set up early in the morning and then watching the kids all day. The fair was 11-4pm and "was I think a big success." (Recognize that Whitney? Michael could even tell you who says that, Woody.) I got great exposure for the business, meet tons of great people and got personally invited to do two more craft fairs. Sorry for SO many photos but I had to for Kensley.Enjoy!
My booth. It wasn't extravagant or flashy, but my simple layout worked. I have tons of improvements and new ideas for future fairs. These beanies were some of my best sellers.

Headbands! I guess I never realized I until they were all layed out on the table, but my headbands come off as garters. I'll be sure to display them differently next time.

Of course I had the camera with me during the day but after the fair I was so rushed and crazy that I didn't bring it to the party for Michael and I. So if I may close your eyes and imagine the following. Well, open your eyes so you can read this, then imagine away!
6:30 pm Leatherbys in Citrus Heights, Red Velvet cake, Joes dish of Swiss milk chocolate and mint chip, 25 friends and family, a noisy and chaotic Leatherbys, Uh oh, 40 of the Sheppards' immediate family show up at the same time for a "small" family gathering, noise level elevates, wrapping paper being ripped off of some great presents, blowing out candles and the goodbyes. What a night!! Did you have fun?
SURPRISE!!!!
My Dad and Sue came all the way from Utah to surprise Michael and I for our birthdays. What a treat! Michael couldn't have a better surprise then Papa coming to town and not only eating ice cream and cake all night, but wrestling until 10 pm.
Thanks to Whitney and Scott who came from San Fransisco and as always are such good company and a great help with the kids. Sorry no pictures were taken.
