My sister Whitney posted something the other day on her blog that got me to thinking?

What do we all do during the day?

Okay, I guess this is aimed more toward the stay at home Mom or Dad, but how is your day filled? Is it as boring as mine is some days, as hectic, as creative, as sleepy and so on? Is there something that someone is doing to make their life easier that I just didn't figure out yet? Please post about what you do and maybe it will be entertaining, uplifting or someone might learn something.

What did I do today?

Woke up

Showered myself

Showered 2 kids

Collected the first morning urine of my son for his Dr. appt.

(that was weird)

Michael's doctor appointment at 10am

Comforted a very sad boy after 4 shots

Got McDonald's ice cream to soothe the said child

Cleaned up the house a bit

Made lunch

Went to visit a sick family member

Came home, cleaned more

Cooked dinner

Went out to dinner with friends(rare occurrence)

SLEEPY TIME!!!

Did I fail to mention fielding all of the "whys" and what fors" that are CONSTANTLY directed at me during the day in between running around like a chicken with her head cut off. Most I can answer, some I'm not sure if I should...for example:

Michael:"Why can't Daddy's have babies?"

"How does the Baby come out?"

"Why did your Mom die?"

"When will I die?"

"That girl is smoking. Will Jesus stop watching over her now?"

Does your 4 year old ask questions like these too?

Did I mention that I am tired...
