Race for the Cure

Today we woke up very early and walked in the Race for the Cure 5k. It was quite an experience, very empowering to see all of the people there in support of finding a cure for Breast Cancer. I loved walking and seeing all of the signs that people had on their back of who they were walking for; in celebration of or in memory of. Oh yeah, all of the groups had their names on big signs that they carried the whole way. Some of the names were so perfect for the occasion.

It was also quite a site and a little emotional to see some 20+ people wearing the names of my 3 grandmothers on their shirts who past from cancer. Next year I hope to run!!

What a day!!

Side note: On the way there we had a accident on the freeway, no worries we're all okay! We didn't let it ruin our day and we made it to the race on time.
Thanks Cal Expo exit for being so dang congested...
...thanks to the man who suddenly slammed on his brakes to avoid hitting the car in front of him and allowing us to hit him......thanks mini van for taking a hit!

I was at the Race too!! The funny thing was that I kept seeing people with the Buzzuto Insurance shirts on so I was looking for you, but with how many people were there we could have walked right past each other and not even known! I want to run it next year when I'm not prego, you should do it with me! : )
